TSB Supply Chain to take enterprise experience to support the smaller business
In the midst of an economic recession, TSB Supply Chain is today launching to provide smaller businesses with the skills and support needed to reduce inefficiencies in their supply chain.
TSB Supply Chain will work with smaller enterprises, which have traditionally been overlooked by larger providers, to deliver bespoke supply chain solutions. In addition, the company will offer a range of individual services, which can be integrated to create a comprehensive supply chain solution.
TSB Supply Chain is being launched by the experts behind consultancy firm, The Service Business, which already works with companies across industries to help them to reduce cost and increase efficiencies within the service supply chain.
Phil Smith, director and co-founder of TSB Supply Chain comments,
“Many organisations have a need and desire to outsource elements of their supply chain to improve efficiency, but are overlooked by the larger supply chain partners. TSB Supply Chain has the flexibility to react to changing demands and varying requirements, reflecting clients’ cultures and business goals.”
TSB Supply Chain has already partnered with large not-for-profit organisation, In-Kind Direct, which distributes surplus goods from manufacturers and retailers to UK charities. TSB Supply Chain is working with In Kind Direct to provide a managed warehouse solution, accompanied with an integrated network of specialist freight transport and couriers and bespoke IT applications.
Robin Boles, CEO, In Kind Direct comments,
“Having a dedicated warehouse workforce makes a vast difference and we have noticed many benefits since working with TSB Supply Chain. It is such a pleasure to work with people who truly want to continuously improve. It’s helping us, thousands of charities and the millions of people they serve. And this should translate into TSB Supply Chain being a growing and profitable business for many years to come. ”
The team of experts at TSB Supply Chain will design, implement and manage bespoke and innovative supply chain solutions for their clients – harnessing people, processes and technology to deliver sustainable performance improvements and increased profit margins.
